Erin Dugan Jurchak has two clear, vivid diagonal lines on her chest. They extend from the perimeters of her neck down and are highlighted with a golden glow.
However the influential blonde beauty didn’t get her sun-kissed look by spending hours catching the rays in a halter neck bikini.
She faked her tan with makeup.
Armed with two stripes Washi Craft Tape from Michael ($12), Anastasia Beverly Hills matte bronzing powder ($28) and Tarte’s Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Long Lasting Powder Blush in rose red ($30), a product she already had in her extensive make-up arsenal, it took her just ten minutes to create the illusion of bikini strap marks on her copper chest.
“The tan lines are feminine and sexy,” said Jurchak, who garnered a staggering 6.1 million views on a makeup tutorial she posted on TikTok, where the #FakeTan hashtag has over 2.3 billion users.

“Putting fake tan lines reminds me of my youth, growing up within the 2000s. [when tan lines were more fashionable]she said, pointing to a time when celebrities similar to Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz and Jessica Biel shamelessly strutted down red carpets with distinctive beachwear marks on display.
Tan lines are the most recent 2000s style trend that’s making a resurgence, but now many individuals are faking this search for each health and luxury reasons.
Brazilian model Gih Coelho, 21, from São Paulo, began the trend for artificial tan lines in January with a TikTok clip that earned her 4.6 million views.
Within the caption of the post, the brunette joked that she used tape and makeup to get the effect after forgetting to sunbathe, in response to the language translation provided by the app.

But online, cosmetics lovers like Jurchak pretend to be a beauty straight from the beach with tape and powders.
Tan lines are very fashionable in Brazil, where there are salons that place electrical tape along the bust and bikini lines of ladies to create contrasting color patterns on their skin after they go to the beach.
Ghazal Wahidy, 29, a beauty content creator, told The Post she was excited to get a tan over her makeup after seeing Coelho’s tutorial on her timeline.
“He looks so sexy and attractive,” said Wahidy, from Alberta, Canada, adding that he’s her boyfriend loves the fake print on her body.
To attain the effect, she cuts a protracted piece of duct tape vertically – dividing it into two thin strips that resemble the narrow strips of a spaghetti bikini – and sticks every bit to her chest.
Then he brushes the tape Hoola matte bronzer by Profit Cosmetics ($35) and finished off the design with a couple of touches of blush Powder blush Kylie Cosmetics ($20).

“When I was in highschool, I used to sunbathe quite a bit within the sun or in a tanning bed, and that is not good in your skin,” said Wahidy. “It is a much safer alternative.”
Manhattan dermatologist Dr. Julie Russak agrees.
“[It’s] an odd trend, but significantly better than overexposing your skin to the sun to get a tan,” Russak told The Post. “An excessive amount of sun exposure changes our DNA and could cause UV damage, which increases the danger of skin cancer.”
Beautician from Recent York, Danuta Mieloch, adds that makeup, and never sun rays or tanning beds, can be the perfect option to avoid early signs of aging.
“Any time your skin changes color as a consequence of an excessive amount of sun exposure,” Mieloch said, “you are vulnerable to developing fantastic lines, wrinkles, or discoloration.”
No matter the way you achieve them, arsonists can not be hidden.
In October, 50-yr-old supermodel Heidi Klum shared a dangerous selfie on Instagram in a mirror by which she showed off the sun prints she had grown under a tiny black bikini.
A-lists like Emily Ratajkowski, 31, actress Karrueche Tran, 35, and gymnast Olivia Dunne, 20, have also been flaunting their summer stripes recently.
“This [makeup trend] isn’t about demonizing the sun,” said Jurchak. “It’s just a pleasant and protected option to get a fun summer look.”
