Elon Musk’s movie sister said she’s been overrun by predators who ‘assume my eldest brother pays for every part’ Every day mail.
“But he doesn’t,” added Tosca Musk, the 48-year-old sister of the world’s richest man.
Tosca, who works as a filmmaker and executive producer, said she was recently overcharged by $20,000 when she was searching for a location for a recent film.
“The situation was presupposed to cost $5,000, but once they heard my name and assumed we were wealthy, they decided to charge us $25,000,” Tosca told The Mail.
“It is not quite fair, is it?” she asked, shaking her head, noticing that individuals often mistakenly assume that Musks were born wealthy.
“Ah, no,” said Tosca.

When asked if Musk was helping her financially in any capability, Tosca said, “It is a double-edged sword for me to say if my brother has helped in any way.”
She continued, “If I say no, people will say he doesn’t support me in any respect, and if I say yes, they’ll think he paid for every part.”
As for people wanting to make use of her to get near her brother – which she says “happens on a regular basis” – Tosca told The Mail she has a “well-tuned bull counter so I don’t let that occur far and the reply is all the time no.
Tosca is the youngest of three Musk siblings. Her other brother, Kimbal, 50, is a chef and restaurateur.
All three were raised in South Africa by their mother, Maye.
Maye Musk, 75, detailed her experiences as a single mother who escaped an abusive marriage and struggled financially in her 2019 best-selling memoir, A Woman Makes a Plan.
Despite this, she raised three children who were hugely successful.
Tosca co-founded Passionflix in 2017. The streaming service is analogous to Netflix but only offers romantic movies.
“Although romance is the best-selling genre on the earth, we did not attract existing TV networks or studios to those stories in any respect. So we decided to create our own streaming platform as a substitute,” Tosca told The Mail.

Kimbal has made a name for himself within the culinary world for his food-centric endeavors geared toward finding an answer to America’s obesity problem.
He can be a member of Tesla’s board of directors. He was an early investor within the automaker and is price around $700 million, although that quantity is dwarfed by his brother’s multi-billion dollar fortune.
Tosca told The Mail that she and her brothers learned a robust work ethic from their mother, who worked five jobs in 1979 to support her children – who were five, seven and eight on the time.
“There’s a perception that we had so much of money growing up, but that is not true,” said Tosca. “After my parents divorced, my mother, brothers and I were together and we did not have any money.”

In her memoirs, Maye described her marriage to her kid’s father Errol Musk as physically abusive.
“Despite the fact that there have been some really, really terrible moments, I try to not give attention to them because it isn’t going to get you anywhere. I had a tremendous mother who took care of me and wonderful brothers,” Tosca told The Mail.
Errol, meanwhile, denounced his ex-wife’s domestic violence claims as “ridiculous, absurd and made up,” the web site reported.
Maye now works as a model, and on the age of 74, she even appeared on the duvet of Sports Illustrated Swim. Her fortune is estimated at $45 million.
