Apparently King Charles desires to be the King of England, not the King of Burgers.
While visiting Berlin with Queen Consort Camilla on their first foreign state visit together last week, the monarch was presented with a Burger King paper crown by a bystander during his walk.
The clip was recorded by Germany YouTube channel and royal reporter.
“It’s for you should you want it,” one person’s voice is heard handing the king a paper crown.
“I’m effective,” he replied with a smile as he walked away.
A fun crown with a purple top and pretend jewels throughout is the hallmark of the fast food giant.
Oddly enough, this is not the first time the British royal family has received a Burger King embellishment.
In March, Camilla also received the crown during a public visit together with her husband in Colchester, England.

A girl who tried to provide her a crown went viral with a 16-second clip posted to TikTok.
But unlike her husband, the Queen Consort actually accepted the gift, saying: “Oh dear, that is very sort of you. Burger King.”
The royal visit to Germany comes just months before King Charles’s upcoming coronation is scheduled for May 6 at Westminster Abbey.
The ceremony marks the official transfer of title and power to the king, in keeping with the BBC.
It’s unclear who exactly will attend the coronation – latest reports say US President Joe Biden may not make the trip across the pond, as will Charles’ son Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle.

Family animosity comes after the Sussexes’ departure from their royal roles in 2020 and the recent release of his memoir, Spare, in which he alleged that his elder brother Prince William had physically assaulted him.
Nonetheless, if Prince Harry and Markle select not to attend the coronation, they may cause “irreversible blowfor the family, the royal expert claimed.
“In a universe where the damage already done by the rift remains to be repairable, at the least in part, a failure to look could be a fatal, irreparable blow, each to the public and potentially to the family itself,” royal public relations expert Edward Coram- James told GB News.
He added: “This risks dragging out the conflict in the long term.”
King Charles’ mother, Queen Elizabeth, died on September 8, 2022 at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. She was 96 years old and had reigned for 70 years.
