Kyrie Irving apparently had a couple of things off his chest.
Following the Mavericks’ 113-106 loss to the Pelicans on Wednesday, the Dallas ranger lashed out at fans and media on Twitch that referenced his breakup with the Cavaliers, Celtics and Nets.
Irving, who was traded from the Nets to the Mavericks last month, called out to those that consider they really know him after seeing him play basketball.
“You see me for 3 hours and you think that you understand who I’m. You see some posts: “Oh Ky woke up, Ky got it, oh Ky woke up, oh my god.” He just doesn’t fit into everyone’s blueprint. He’s different, he’s crazy, he’s conceited, he is that this, he is that this.
“All due to seeing me for 3 hours. You get all of it.
“What’s Ky going to do that summer? Does Ky like Dallas? What happened in Brooklyn? What happened in Boston? What happened in Cleveland? Why did you permit LeBron? [James]? Why did you permit Jayson? [Tatum]? Why did you permit KD? [Kevin Durant]? Why did you permit all these people?
“For 3 hours – ask all these legitimate questions as if there weren’t 21 hours daily after that.
“You’re thinking that I’m a cancer in the locker room, as if basketball is a person sport for which one person is responsible. There are 15 guys on the team, and I’m the one cancer in the room. That is the way it is presented. That is what you get. That is how they rejoice. That is why these old, bitter men and ladies keep my name in their mouths daily.”
Irving also addressed sports betting and its impact on fans.
“Gambling and sports betting sometimes took away from the purity and fun of the sport completely,” said Irving. “I’ll just be honest with you. Work is figure, however the support around it will possibly be distracting.
“There is a difference between being a die-hard fan and supporting your team and loving your team versus someone who places bets or someone who desires to hit.”
For Irving, betting had a direct impact on his life.

“Do not get me flawed, I don’t desire anyone wasting money on me,” he said. “But rattling, like this whole community of gamblers who come to the basketball game. Tell me what you all think. If you would like to gamble, why not play something that is sensible to you?
“I’m just saying you gamble, you win otherwise you lose. But that doesn’t suggest sneaking into someone’s DMs, wishing them bad or doing extra stuff that happens, man. Sometimes my head spins. Do you are feeling me?”
Irving ended his tirade questioning how free it is that if its indigenous people will not be in Australia, amongst others.

The tirade followed Irving’s dramatic performance on the court, ending with 27 points, six rebounds and 4 assists in the loss and he appeared to get into it with a fan through the game.
“There’s nothing like fans attempting to tell me easy methods to play basketball,” said Irving, searching over the group on the Smoothie King Center.
Then a fan began shouting about Irving’s posts on Amazon, a reference to his previous social media posts promoting an anti-Semitic film and book during his time in Brooklyn, resulting in the Nets’ suspension.
