The variety of Covid-19 cases in China has increased after the country relaxed its strict zero-tolerance rules. Prices of traditional Chinese medicine and lemons are also rising as Chinese residents struggle to guard themselves from the virus.
Prices of fruits wealthy in vitamin C and antioxidants are seeing sharp increases because of higher demand.

This month, one food market in Beijing paid 13 yuan ($1.86) for 2 lemons, about twice the standard price.
Other residents are using social media platforms like Weibo to complain about lemon inflation says one user spent 12 yuan ($1.72) on three lemons.
“I didn’t know lemon prices could triple in in the future” posted by one other Weibo user.
At one point, lemons were unavailable in Chengdu on the Dingdong Maicai e-commerce platform. local media reports.
