A former Sydney swimming coach has been found guilty of 43 child sexual abuse offenses and has been detained after a retrial that lasted several months.
Paul Douglas Frost had previously pleaded not guilty to quite a few charges referring to 11 applicants, all of whom were former students, within the Nineties and 2000s.
Along with his coaching experience, Frost gained public attention as a contestant on the primary season of MasterChef Australia on Network 10.
Frost, 47, was initially arrested in September 2019 in Sylvania.

On Wednesday, at Downing Center District Court in Sydney, a jury unanimously found Frost guilty of all 43 charges listed within the indictment.
The offenses included quite a few cases of sexual intercourse with a baby aged 10 to 16 under the kid’s authority, assault for indecent conduct towards a baby, and grooming a baby under 14 for illegal sexual activity.
The jury took only 10 minutes to announce quite a few verdicts.

Judge Sarah Huggett informed Frost that he had been convicted of crimes.
The Crown made a request for detention, which Frost’s lawyers didn’t object to.
He was handcuffed and detained, denied bail.
Judge Huggett expressed gratitude to the jury on behalf of the community for dedicating months of their time to conducting themselves diligently and professionally throughout the trial.
She also assured jurors that they might have the opportunity to make use of counseling if needed.
Frost is resulting from appear in court in August.
