The “lost witness” from the Biden corruption investigation, Israeli professor Dr. Gal Luft, laid out his allegations of bribery against the president’s family in an unusual video shot at an undisclosed location in the course of the escape.
In a 14-minute video, obtained exclusively by The Post, a fugitive former Israeli army officer claims he was arrested in Cyprus to stop him from testifying to the House Oversight Committee that the Biden family received payments from individuals allegedly linked to Chinese military intelligence and that they’d an FBI mole who shared classified information with their benefactors on the Chinese-controlled energy company CEFC.
The self-proclaimed fall guy claims to have provided incriminating evidence to 6 FBI and Justice Department officials during a secret meeting in Brussels in March 2019 – but claims it was covered up.
“I, who volunteered to tell the US government of a possible security breach and disclosure of data a few man running for the following president, am now being hunted by the identical people I informed – and I could have to survive the run for the remainder of my life on the run. . “.
“I’m not a Republican. I’m not a democrat. I don’t have any motives or political plans. . . I did so out of deep fear that if the Bidens got here to power, the country would face the identical traumatic scandal of collusion with Russia – only this time with China. Unfortunately, on account of a cover-up by the Department of Justice, that is exactly what happened. . “.
“I actually have warned the federal government of the potential threat to the integrity of the 2020 elections. . . Ask yourself who’s the true criminal in this story?
House Oversight chairman Republican James Comer, who was preparing to query Luft before Luft’s disappearance, says the Israeli stays a “potential witness” in the Biden family investigation, despite his fugitive status.
It stays to be seen if Luft is the person to topple the Bidens, but he is just not walking calmly into the sunset.
He is decided to inform the American public his version of the reality.
Calling himself “patient zero of the Biden family’s investigation,” Luft, 57, says he’s innocent of charges of conspiring to sell Chinese weapons to Kenya, Libya and the UAE, violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) and making a false statement.
He says he was forced to go away bail in Cyprus in April while awaiting extradition “because I didn’t imagine I used to be going to get a good trial in a Latest York court.”
“Make the evidence public”
Now he is looking on the federal government to release the minutes of the meeting in Brussels and make public the evidence incriminating him.
“Why did the Department of Justice resolve to open the indictment on November 1, 2022, the identical week of the midterm elections?” He’s asking.
“Could this have anything to do with the fear that after the Republicans take control of Congress and begin investigating, [the DOJ] cover-up could be fully visible?
Luft told the Justice Department and the FBI in Brussels that Joe Biden, shortly after the tip of his term as vp, attended a gathering on the 4 Seasons Hotel in Washington together with his son Hunter and officials from the CEFC.
Luft’s account of the previous vice president’s presence at that meeting was confirmed 21 months later when the FBI interviewed one other participant, Biden family associate Rob Walker, in response to testimony recently given to Congress.
Luft revealed during a Brussels interview that the CEFC paid Hunter $100,000 a month and $65,000 to his uncle Jim Biden in exchange for his or her ties to the FBI and using Biden’s name to advertise China’s Belt and Road Initiative world wide – and that the cash was being funneled through by Walker.
The Oversight Committee wrote to Walker demanding that he undergo questioning about his role in transferring greater than $1 million from China to at the least three of President Biden’s relatives.
He claims the Department of Justice sent a six-member delegation to fulfill Luft in Brussels; 4 FBI agents and two District Attorneys from the Southern District of Latest York, Daniel Richenthal and Catherine Ghosh.
Among the many FBI contingent was Special Agent Joshua Wilson of the Baltimore field office, who was scheduled to sign a subpoena later that 12 months to seize Hunter’s abandoned laptop from a Delaware repair shop.
“Why did the federal government send so many individuals to Europe?” Luft asks.
“They knew thoroughly that I used to be a reputable witness and had insider knowledge of the group and individuals who enriched the Biden family.
“During an intense two-day meeting, I shared information concerning the Biden family’s financial transactions with CEFC, including specific dollar amounts. I also gave the name of Rob Walker, who later became generally known as Hunter Biden’s porter.”
Think tank connections
He also told the Justice Department and the FBI in Brussels that Hunter had an FBI mole named “One-Eye” who tipped off his CEFC colleagues Dr. Patrick Ho and Chairman Ye Jianming that they were under investigation.
Luft has strong ties to intelligence circles in Washington, where he headed the Institute for the Evaluation of Global Security think tank, whose advisers included former CIA director James Woolsey and former national security adviser Robert McFarlane.
In 2017, he learned that Hunter and Uncle Jim Biden were paid by the CEFC because Hunter was on the time a partner in a non-profit think tank affiliated with a Chinese company.
When Ho was arrested in 2017 in Latest York on bribery charges, the primary person he tried to call was Hunter Biden, to whom he paid $1 million as a “legal advance.”
Nonetheless, in the course of the trial, Ho was blocked by prosecutors from mentioning the Bidens, in response to Luft.
Ho “paid Hunter Biden 1,000,000 dollars for who knows what [but] Biden wasn’t allowed to say his word before the jury,” says Luft.
Prosecutor Daniel Richenthal then told the judge that mentioning Biden’s name would “add a political dimension” to the case, and the judge agreed. Which suggests if I used to be delivered to trial in Latest York, I would not be allowed to say the word Brussels or Biden.”
Luft denies the allegations that he’s an arms dealer: “I used to be asked by an actual arms dealer, an Israeli acquaintance, to ask an organization I do know in the event that they had the item and what the value could be. The plot ended there. No sequel, no money, no middlemen.”
He also faces charges of operating FARA as an unregistered foreign agent for the CEFC.
“The Department of Justice claims I caused a $6,000 a month payment to former CIA director James Woolsey to place his name in an article I wrote for the China Every day newspaper. . . Woolsey has been an advisor to my think tank since 2002, and nothing in the article represented Chinese interests.”
“Why am I accused. . . for ghostwriting a harmless article for which I received no payment, let alone a foreign government, while the mother of all FARA matters, the Biden systemic influence, trading on behalf of foreign governments, for which they racked up [in] million, stays unpunished?”
The lawyer met with the federal government
An interesting addition to Luft’s story comes in October 2020, just a few days after The Post’s bombshell revelations from Hunter’s laptop.
Luft sent its attorney, Robert Henoch, to Washington to fulfill the Trump administration’s deputy attorney general, Richard Donoghue, to reiterate the costs he made in Brussels.
Donoghue was also appointed by Attorney General Bill Barr in February 2020 to coordinate federal investigations into all Ukraine-related corruption charges against Joe Biden.
Unbeknownst to Lufta, on September 4, Donoghue ordered the U.S. Attorney of Delaware to halt the Hunter investigation to avoid leaks in the 2 months before the election, in response to testimony given to Congress.
Donoghue agreed to fulfill Henoch at a Starbucks near the DOJ headquarters and corresponded on his private email, says Luft, who showed The Post emails between his lawyer and a senior official.
“This story is about corruption at the best levels of presidency/politics and I feel all of this could be confirmed,” wrote Henoch.
Nothing got here of the meeting until February of that 12 months, when Luft was arrested in Cyprus.
