Mormon influencer Taylor Frankie Paul was charged Tuesday with felony domestic violence and aggravated assault charges stemming from an alleged February 17 fight in Utah together with her boyfriend Dakota Mortensen.
In line with Salt Lake County court documents obtained by The Post, Mortensen reportedly told Herriman police that he tried to go away Paul’s home after she allegedly hit him during an argument.
Mortensen, 30, said Paul, 28, threw his cell phone and a wood playset at him. Mortensen claimed that Paul also threw three “heavy metal chairs” at him, including one which allegedly hit one of her two young children in the top.
“Paul pleaded guilty to throwing metal chairs and a wood playset,” based on a court document.
Police say the video allegedly shows Paul hugging her boyfriend, hitting him “multiple times” and throwing three bar stools at him.

The Post contacted Paul and Mortensen for comment. Paul was released from the Salt Lake County Jail on February 18 after a brief stay, based on records.
Paul has two children together with her ex-husband Tate Paul – daughter Indy, 5, and son Ocean, 2. The couple divorced last 12 months after a “soft swinger” reported “crossing the road” with one of her friend’s husbands. Paul made his relationship debut with Mortensen on social media in August.
Police reported that the wood set damaged the door of Mortensen’s vehicle, while the metal chairs allegedly made holes within the wall and left one of Paul’s children with a “goose egg” on his head.
“Dakota reported fearing for his life. Dakota was observed with redness and swelling round her eyes, swelling of her elbow, scratches on her fingers and a laceration on her neck,” the court document reads.

Mortensen’s alleged testimony to the police differs from what he reportedly said Day by day mail last week. The selling point quoted Mortensen as saying that he and Paul “didn’t argue” and she “never intentionally hurt anyone”. He also appeared to claim that he had not called the police, suspecting that a neighbor had done so.
Paul didn’t comment publicly on the allegations. Nevertheless, on Monday, she posted a cheerful photo with Ocean in her Instagram story. She has over 271,000 followers on the platform and 4 million followers on TikTok, where she rose to fame as a member of the MomTok community – of which Mormons are a subgroup.
