An Australian mum revealed on Saturday that her partner was paralyzed after blowing his nose and suffered a spinal injury.
In response to Kirsty Bronner, she and her family were at home on Recent Yr’s Day in 2022 after they heard “a loud bang coming from their bathroom” reports The Every day Mail.
“I ran and located my partner lying on the ground unconscious,” said Bronner, 34. “He hit his neck and dislocated it, causing damage to the C6/7 spinal cord.”
In response to Bronner, he passed out after blowing his nose after which slamming his neck against a rest room bench.
The scariest thing, in response to the devastated mum, is that her partner apparently predicted the autumn.
“I’ll always remember how he said he felt something bad was on the best way. Now I look back and get goosebumps,” recalls Bronner.

Because of COVID procedures, Bronner was unable to go to her 43-year-old partner within the hospital as he underwent a grueling six-hour operation.
“I was sick with worry. They finally called and said he had a dislocated neck from hitting the bench, which resulted in a spinal cord injury, and he didn’t know the extent of the damage until they’d surgery and tests done, Bronner said.
Consequently, Bronner spent several months battling depression and caused her skincare company — The Booty Co. – suffer.

“The emotional and psychological stress it caused was so severe that I could not go into business in any respect,” said Bronner. “
The mother-of-four was left alone to take care of the youngsters while her partner underwent a six-month hospital stay and rehabilitation. “We had an external warehouse to ship, but every little thing else was completely on hold.”
Bronner’s sister, who’s the brand’s creative director, also tried to assist.
“I was so mentally strained that I attempted to look after my children as best as I could in order that Felicity would come and do a whole lot of home tasks and help the youngsters, leaving her unable to do her part within the business,” said Bronner.
As of today, Bronner’s partner has yet to make a full recovery and doctors say it’s “highly unlikely” that this may ever occur.
However, Bronner says she put every little thing into her business.
“I haven’t any time for myself anymore. I spend every free moment on business,” she said.
“I attempt to do things that make it a bit of easier, like ordering most things online like groceries, ensuring I’m organized for a couple of days the night before and getting help when needed.”
In response to Bronner, whose business reached $1.2 billion in sales in March, it was the “hardest time” of her life.
