This wedding accident definitely lifted the spirits of the bride.
Searching through their wedding photos, the newlywed and mother of 4 was shocked to see a blurry image of what she believes to be the ghost of her late daughter peeking out from behind a tree.
“I don’t think in lots of things” wrote Leah Murphy, 33, from Australia, within the credits of her touching testimony on TikTok. “But I think she was there to look at me and her dad marry in her honor.”
On September 19, 2022, Murphy’s youngest daughter, Totty, died in a drowning accident on the age of 17 months.
In her viral post, which has amassed over 1.3 million views, Murphy shared a memorable photo of herself and groom Cecil kissing passionately against a backdrop of lush greenery during an outside wedding in December 2022.
Within the background of the frame, a hazy figure that mimics the form of a small child appears to be watching the smooch from afar.
“The recent lack of our daughter made me think she wasn’t there sharing our big day with us,” Murphy wrote partly within the clip’s caption, “[But] that proves something else.”
And sympathetic viewers agreed.
“My jaw dropped after which tears flowed. It’s [definitely] her,” wrote a convinced commentator.
“My tears immediately began flowing after I saw her. She made sure you knew she was at all times with you,” said one other.
“She looks like she’s wearing a stunning light summer dress. She’s with you,” one other encouraged.
In closing, Murphy wrote a heartfelt ode to her dead toddler in her film’s caption, saying “I miss you usually, my little shadow.”
