Comment of the week
“Thanks Mark for the swimming comments.
I hope you do not mind if I share a private story?
I spent my teenage years in Germany, and Germany, I might add, has the very best indoor and outdoor pools on this planet. There, within the Nineteen Eighties, once we were going to highschool, every Friday we spent the last two lessons on compulsory swimming, during which the teacher taught us the proper swimming technique for the primary hour, and then allowed us to play freely. My passion for swimming was born and since then I haven’t stopped swimming. Like it! As you said, swimming just isn’t only cardio but additionally strength training and has many, many cognitive advantages. I swim 4 times per week – 45-60 minutes.
Thanks again“.
