An Australian woman claims that her American ex-husband visited her one day after getting an Australian partner visa.
Isabelle Glastonbury, 31, said she met an unidentified Texan in Dallas in 2015 and got engaged a yr later, moving to the country in 2018.
They cemented their relationship at a dream wedding in Palm Beach for the sum of $50,000, which was reportedly covered by her family.
But their honeymoon was short-lived – allegedly in January 2021, he went to get a visa for which Glastonbury’s parents reportedly paid $10,000.
“I got here home and literally 90% of his stuff was gone,” said Glastonbury Each day Mail Australia in an article published on Friday.

“I had this sinking feeling.”
She recalled attempting to log into his immigration accounts but was blocked, her bank cards were depleted and her number blocked.
The distraught bride said none of her calls or messages went through.

“He stalked everyone – all our mutual friends, the most effective man from our wedding and his family, nobody knew where he was,” she said.
On reflection, she realized that he had turn into “distant and commenced disappearing at night”, despite him proposing to maneuver to Queensland and begin a family together.
“I felt like I used to be married to a complete stranger,” she explained, adding, “I do not know what his plan was, none of it made sense.”

“He was my best friend, my ride or die,” she continued.
“He tricked everyone, including me.”
She claims the Department of Immigration and Border Protection didn’t help her case.

“So many individuals reported him to immigration and nothing happened,” she said.
Glastonbury said she had not spoken to her ex since meeting in February 2021, when he allegedly said he “have to be single”.
“I feel we got married, he got over it and he was too cowardly – he couldn’t say anything to my face but he just desired to stay in Australia,” she mused.
She said a friend recently informed her that her ex had remarried “almost a yr to the day we officially divorced.”
Meanwhile, Glastonbury moved in together with her highschool sweetheart, Max, with whom she welcomed three-month-old son Mason.
Now that she is “in a very good place”, she shares her story to warn others who turned a blind eye to her husband’s suspicious behavior.
“Do not be blind because I’m sure I could have seen the signs before it happened and just ignored it, you never really know who you are sleeping next to,” she advised.
