Golf Twitter is buzzing about Patrick Reed’s wife, Justine Karain.
Some online detectives consider that Karain may have revealed herself as the mastermind behind the infamy @useGolfFACTS The Twitter account after responding to the news that the 2018 Masters champion is attending the Collingwood-St Kilda AFL match in Australia on Sunday.
Tron Schuster, also known as Tron Carter on Twitter, from the “No Laying Up” podcast shared an image of Reed sitting at an Australian football game wearing a 4 aces cap, representing his LIV Golf team.
“P attends the Collingwood/St Kilda AFL game on Sunday, obviously representing The Aces,” Carter wrote.
“I’m wondering if @useGolfFACTS didn’t attend resulting from the standard of the seats provided!”
Carter was apparently referring to a seat debacle during a Boston Red Sox game in 2018 when Reed blew up the PGA Tour for giving him and his wife free tickets to a game in Fenway’s “line driving section”.
Within the early hours of Monday morning, Twitter @useGolfFACTS responded to Carter’s message with a photograph of Reed from an AFL game sitting in a non-public suite with teammate Dustin Johnson and others.
“Looks like nice seats to me!” the account wrote in its reply.
Some people were quick to invest whether Reed and his wife were behind the tweet, how it has been reported that the couple or their family may be related to the Twitter account.
It has not been confirmed that the Twitter account belongs to Reed and his wife.
In 2021, Reed raised his eyebrows with a tweet that was the equivalent of the Twitter message @useGolfFACTS after the professional’s controversial fall in the course of the third round of the Farmers Insurance Open.
Reed’s tweet, which got here just seven minutes after the identical message was posted on the @useGolfFACTS Twitter account, read: “RORY MCILROY @McIlroyRory DID THE SAME THING AT BOTTOM 18 TODAY! AND I DIDN’T EVEN CALL THE RULE REFEREE TO GIVE THE BALL IN THE THIRD. THE END OF THE STORY.”

Golf Digest reported on the time that responses to the @useGolfFACTS Twitter account included tweets defending Reed against various allegations throughout his profession – and other messages criticizing his then PGA Tour teammates, including Justin Thomas.
On the time, Reed’s lawyer, Phillip B. Costa, denied that his client’s social media accounts were linked to the administrator of the @useGolfFACTS Twitter account.

“Please note that the one who manages Patrick Reed’s Twitter and Instagram accounts doesn’t have an @use GolfFACTS account,” Costa said in October 2021.
