Broadway legend Patti LuPone has auditioned Kim Kardashian for the upcoming season of Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story,” saying the fact TV titan is taking the acting job away from a legitimate performer.
LuPone – who appeared within the third season of the favored horror franchise – spoke during appearance on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live” on Sunday night.
“Do you care that Kim Kardashian is now starring in season 12 of American Horror Story?” asked the three-time Tony Award-winning talk show host.
“Yes!” LuPone shot back.
“I’m sorry, Kim,” the scene legend continued. “What are you doing together with your life? Please stay off the stage, Mrs. Worthington!
“Mrs. Worthington” is a commentary by a a reference to a song by Noël Coward a couple of mother who puts her very unattractive daughter on stage.
“Whatever she said, I double the emotion,” one other guest, John Leguizamo, chimed in, causing Cohen and LuPone to burst out laughing.
The Post reached out to each LuPone and Kardashian for comment.

Kardashian shared a brief video earlier this month revealed that she and actress Emma Roberts will star within the upcoming season of American Horror Story, titled “Delicate.”
The series shall be based on Danielle Valentine’s forthcoming novel Delicate Condition, which is described as a “feminist update to Rosemary’s Baby” and tells the story of a lady convinced that a malevolent mastermind is attempting to sabotage her pregnancy.
“Kim is certainly one of the most important and brightest TV stars on this planet and we’re thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family” – co-creator Murphy said the Hollywood Reporter after the announcement. “Emma and I are excited to be working with this true cultural force.”

Despite LuPone’s anger, “American Horror Story” is not the Kardashian’s first acting role.
She earlier appeared within the 2008 satirical film Disaster Movie. She also landed roles within the 2013 drama Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor and had a cameo within the 2018 star-studded film Ocean’s Eight.
Meanwhile, Kardashian is not the only person LuPone has expressed outrage with recently.

The diva revealed on Thursday that she was omitted to star in Apple TV+’s hit music show “Schmigadoon!” since the producer told her she was “too old”.
“It is so sad. And it’s depressing,” she said. “It’s their loss! I do not know what else to say. I desired to be in it a lot!”
