Vornado’s ongoing $2 billion office upgrades within the Penn Station area have included new office façades, public space, and various tenant amenities, but not today’s “It” attraction—until now.
The soccer field, after all.
The developer has signed a contract with leading healthy lifestyle brand Life Time for a 53,000+ square foot complex on the primary three floors of PENN 1.
It should boast seven (the variety of them, seven) above-ground pickleball courts to serve fans of the fastest growing recreational sport in the town.
Parham Javaheri, vp of Life Time, boasted that it will be “one of the best indoor club on the town with seating and a bar, complemented by the programs and amenities of our luxury sports club.”
Life Time at Penn 1 will open in two phases.
This summer, a new athletics club will take over the old fitness center on the second and third floors of the tower.
