Three rifle shots were fired at Atlantis Beach Baptist College in Two Rocks, but nobody was injured.
On Thursday afternoon, the 15-year-old was charged with several charges.

He’ll appear at Perth Kid’s Court on Friday.
The three-and-a-half-minute video begins with the officer pinning the 15-year-old to the bottom along with his arms within the air before being handcuffed.
Officers run to a black Nissan Pathfinder, opening the motive force’s side door to disclose what seem like gun bags on the passenger seat.

“The firearm is secured within the vehicle,” the owner of the body camera tells the radio.
“We have now a vehicle with a firearm secured within the vehicle, one man in custody.”
A bunch of officers then enter the important school constructing, heading for a demountable classroom outside which has been hit by gunfire.

The vision shows the entry and exit points of at the very least two rounds – children and staff were contained in the demountable vehicle on the time of the shooting just before noon on Wednesday.
Not less than one round went through the structure.
The video ends with bullet casings present in the school car parking zone where the shooting took place.
WA Police charged the boy on Thursday.
He faces seven counts, including disqualification to drive, three counts of unlicensed possession of a firearm/ammunition, possession of a prohibited weapon, illegal act or omission with intent to cause harm, and discharging a firearm to cause danger or fear.
Meanwhile, the Western Australian prime minister said the incident “might have been much worse”, while acknowledging that his state had “too many guns”.
Mark McGowan toured the school on Thursday morning, which had been closed almost 24 hours earlier.
McGowan said it was a dramatic event for the school, praising the staff, students and police response.
“When something completely unexpected happened, they reacted appropriately … it was traumatic and can little doubt have an enduring impact on those involved,” he said.
“You’d almost never think something like this might occur here… in Western Australia, in Two Rocks of all places… it’s something you see on TV in america.

“We’re working as quickly as possible to radically reform the state’s gun laws…there are 360,000 guns in Western Australia; it’s way an excessive amount of.
“There will likely be a number of actions taken this yr to reform gun laws, but that is secondary to what happened.”
Major reforms to the state’s gun laws were already announced in April, limiting the 56 types of firearms and 19 types of ammunition which might be currently legal in Washington.

The prime minister touted the proposed changes as “Australia’s hardest gun laws”.
But McGowan ruled out strengthening security within the state’s public schools.
“We have now 900 public schools … you possibly can’t have security, you possibly can’t have them armed in every school,” he said.

“Students have the proper to walk safely to school and staff have the proper to a protected environment.”
Atlantis College, meanwhile, closed on Thursday and is anticipated to reopen on a limited basis on Friday before resuming normal operations from Monday.
Forensic officers spent hours combing the car parking zone where the shooting took place, recovering three bullet casings.

Two rifles were also confiscated from a black four-wheel-drive automobile that police say the boy was driving alone to school.
Officers also searched the house of the boy’s parents.
Speaking within the hours after the incident, WA Police Commissioner Col Blanch praised the efforts of some children who called triple zero after hearing the gunshots.
“I used to be really shocked that something like this happened in Western Australia, but I’m really pleased with the response from the school and the community,” said Blanch.
“That is one of the rarest incidents in Australia … I really consider this can be a rare incident and a one-off.”
