Hundreds of residents within the Russian city of Belgorod evacuated Saturday after an unexploded rocket was found near where Russian fighter jets by chance bombed earlier within the week.
City officials ordered about 3,000 residents of 17 high-rise buildings near the blast site to go away their homes on Saturday, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov he said on Telegram.
“Sappers found explosives. Explosives experts from the Ministry of Defense of Russia decided to disarm it on the training ground,” said Gladkov.
Video from Russian media showed residents are being led out of their homes and boarded among the 90 buses that Gladkov said would take them to temporary shelters.
The evacuation got here greater than a day after a Russian warplane by chance dropped a bomb Thursday night near the middle of Belgorod, just 25 miles from the Ukrainian border, in response to the Russian Defense Ministry.
