One in every of “Sister Wives” star Garrison Brown’s three roommates has broken their silence on the fact star’s apparent suicide.
“All I actually have to say is that he was an exquisite person with nothing but positivity to provide to others,” Addison Miele, who lives within the late 25-year-old’s apartment in Flagstaff, Arizona, told Us Weekly on Thursday. “He helped me greatly once I needed a spot to remain. He was friend and landlord.”
Miele added of polygamists Kody and Janelle Brown”s son, “He’s person and someone I look as much as.”
In keeping with an incident report obtained by The Post, Miele told police that he had spoken to Brown on Tuesday at 3 p.m. of their kitchen. Brown was allegedly intoxicated and asked him for a lighter. Miele gave him one, but that was the top of their conversation.
Later that night is when Brown is believed to have shot himself dead. Miele claimed he didn’t hear a gunshot which surprised him because he claimed to be a light-weight sleeper.
Miele also told officers that he and Brown were close and recently had a conversation about Brown being depressed, although he never said anything that Miele considered a red flag.
He claimed Brown was an “alcoholic and drank every night,” the report states, and that Miele would often take him to get food when he was too intoxicated to drive. Miele said Brown was having problems along with his ex-girlfriend and was not a completely happy person.
It was previously reported that Janelle Brown sent her other son, Gabe, to go check on Garrison after she caught wind that he had sent a concerning text to a gaggle of individuals the Brown family works with presumably on their TLC reality show.
“I need to hate you for sharing the nice times. But I can’t. I miss lately,” he wrote, per the report.
Gabe arrived to Garrison’s apartment on Wednesday morning, found his brother dead, then called police. His roommates reportedly hadn’t checked on Garrison before Gabe arrived.
Kody and Janelle released a joint statement Wednesday on Garrison’s death, writing on Instagram, “Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the lack of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown.”
They added, “He was a vibrant spot within the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a giant hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you just please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
