Taylor Swift turned down an invitation to participate in Meghan Markle’s canceled podcast – even after the Duchess of Sussex wrote to the pop star, according to a report.
affront, as reported by the Wall Street Journal, comes after Spotify and Markle announced that they had failed to reach an agreement to launch a second season earlier this month.
Markle wrote a private letter asking Swift to appear on the podcast sooner or later, but the singer declined through a representative, the paper reported.
A Wall Street Journal report detailed how Markle and her husband Prince Harry struggled successfully to produce shows and content for Netflix from their production company Archewell.
The Los Angeles-based couple’s business hasn’t gone gold apart from counting on their very own stories, the Journal reports.

Amongst their failed projects was an animated kid’s show called “Pearl,” which was canceled by Netflix, people aware of the project told the paper. A minimum of two other show ideas from last yr were also reportedly rejected.
Netflix has no plans to renew Harry and Meghan’s deal, which runs until 2025, people have told The Journal.
Each Spotify and Netflix have been affected by the couple’s lack of productivity, The Journal reports, citing people aware of their prospect.

The shows aired by Harry and Meghan seemed too similar to already successful hits on Netflix and were rejected by Netflix, the paper reported.
Harry’s memoir “Spare” was an enormous success, as was the Netflix documentary about the couple’s breakup with the royal family.
“Recent corporations often make changes in the initial phase, each in terms of individuals and strategy, and we aren’t any exception,” a spokesman for Archewell told reporters. “We’re higher equipped, focused and stuffed with energy than ever before.”
A spokesperson for Netflix reportedly said the company values its partnership with Archewell and can proceed to work on joint projects.
