A teacher struggling to make ends meet struggles to get her job back after she was fired for creating OnlyFans content, according to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
Kristin MacDonald, 35, was fired after eight years as a teaching assistant in Canada when she received a letter from board officials announcing her termination.
“Your misconduct on this case is egregious,” reads the termination letter, which lists multiple explanation why MacDonald could be fired.
MacDonald, who says she was earning $1,000 Canadian every two weeks, turned to OnlyFans to help support her family and baby girl.
“For me, it’s too far-fetched. It seems very petty,” the previous teacher told the CBC in frustration.
“I’m a firm believer that these days we should always have the ability to do whatever we would like so long as it isn’t illegal,” she added. “I’m not hurting anyone.”

The model posted exclusive content on her OnlyFans account and on her Instagram tons of sexy photos in a bikini under the name “Miss Ava James”.
MacDonald, who has been working with students with special needs, received her first letter on April 28 from the school district informing her that she must delete all accounts where she promotes adult content or resign.
“You’re asked to immediately stop all activity and delete all online social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and OnlyFans,” reads a warning email from Terry Fox Secondary School.

“Failure to achieve this may lead to disciplinary motion, up to and including termination.”
MacDonald alleged that the school used taxpayer money to review its OnlyFans content to investigate and ultimately resolve to fire her.
Nevertheless, the 35-year-old just isn’t backing down and has since contacted the union to help her get her job back.
“The union doesn’t consider Kristin’s off-duty behavior violates any company policy or collective bargaining agreement,” union representative Randy Kootte he said according to The Sun.
“There was a number of mixed emotions about that,” said MacDonald. “After all, disappointment and all. But I’m also optimistic that this process just isn’t over yet.”

Sarah Juree, 41, was fired from her teaching job after it was revealed she shared sensual selfies on OnlyFans outside of school hours.
A yr after being fired, Juree said she saw the bitter situation as a “blessing in disguise”, claiming she made extra money in her first month on OnlyFans than in a full yr of teaching.
