Jack Sweeney – a school student whose Twitter account that followed Elon Musk’s private jet was suspended this week – said he wasn’t concerned about being sued by the tech mogul – at the very least for now.
The 19-year-old freshman said he had “talked to a couple of people” a few potential lawsuit to be filed by the world’s second richest man, whose net price is valued by Forbes to USD 175.6 billion.
Within the meantime, Sweeney said he would search for letters within the post office.
“I feel it is a bluff, but we’ll have to see,” Sweeney told The Post when he arrived at his home on Thursday morning. “Hard to say.”
“We’ll have to see if I get an official notification from anything,” Sweeney told The Post.
Sweeney – who called Musk a “complete hypocrite” in an interview with The Post just hours after his @Elonjet account was suspended – said he was still processing a recent tweet by the brand new Twitter owner who threatened legal motion against a freshman. .

Musk took to Twitter late Wednesday and posted a Twitter thread claiming someone driving a automotive with California license plates was following the vehicle carrying his young son.
“Last night the automotive carrying Lil X in Los Angeles was followed by a crazy stalker (considering it was me) who later blocked the automotive’s traffic and climbed onto the hood,” Musk tweeted.
Musk then appeared to imply that the best way Sweeney’s flights were tracked on Twitter can have been to blame, tweeting: “Legal motion is being taken against Sweeney and the organizations that supported my family’s harm.”

In an interview with The Post on Thursday, Sweeney scoffed at the concept his flight tracking account may very well be used to stalk Musk or his family.

“It’s trying to put together something that is just crazy.”
Sweeney told The Post on Thursday that he thinks Musk can have gotten revenge on him for tweeting a screenshot of an internal Slack message the teenager claims he received from a Twitter worker.

“That is all a wierd sequence of events every week after I posted a leaked Twitter message that my account was shadow banned,” Sweeney said on Thursday.
When asked if he thought Musk was looking for revenge against Sweeney for publicizing the leak, Sweeney told The Post: “It’s a wierd time for me.”
“I do not know if it’s true or not, but it surely’s really weird to me,” he said. “We already know that Elon was furious with individuals who were already sharing leaked messages, and he wanted employees to sign something they would not disclose.”

In his Twitter thread late Wednesday, Musk posted a brief video clip of the driving force of the automotive allegedly following his son.
The video shows a person wearing black with a hoodie. The motive force’s face is roofed by a mask.
“Anyone recognize this person or automotive?” Musk wrote on Twitter.
Los Angeles police told The Post that they had no information on the incident.

Sweeney told The Post that his @Elonjet only tweets after the plane has taken off.
“I do not give advance notice before launch,” he said.
Twitter, which Musk acquired over a month ago for $44 billion, also blocked Sweeney’s other flight-tracking accounts that monitored the private jets of Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and various Russian oligarchs.
Sweeney said he was surprised to see that Twitter also banned his own personal account.
Earlier this week, tech journalist Zoë Schiffer from Platformer reported that it had received a leaked email that Musk sent to Twitter employees warning against legal motion in the event that they disclose confidential information to the press.
“According to a number of detailed leaks of confidential information from Twitter, several people inside our company proceed to act in ways in which go against the interests of the corporate and violate their NDA,” Musk’s email read.
“It should only be said once: when you clearly and intentionally violate the NDA you signed while you joined, you accept liability to the fullest extent of the law and Twitter will immediately demand compensation.”
