Police took motion after a shocking video surfaced of an adolescent forcing a little bit girl to smoke an e-cigarette.
Video shared on social media shows a four-year-old girl being handed an e-cigarette before a teenage boy allegedly tells her to “suck”.
The little girl inhales the fumes and blows them back out, then tries to control her respiratory.
The video is believed to have been shot within the northern suburbs of Adelaide, however it shouldn’t be known how the teenager and the girl know one another.
South Australian Police reported a 16-year-old boy to the relevant authorities for allegedly supplying a minor with a tobacco product.
“The Juvenile Court will look into the case,” a police spokesman said.
This is not the primary time a young child has been caught on camera being forced to use a vaporizer.
The 16-year-old mum became the main target of public attention earlier this 12 months when she shared multiple videos online of her child sucking on a vaporizer.
The second shows a baby spitting up after inhaling a vape as a girl laughs within the background.
Police became aware of the recording and officers were dispatched to Kempsey’s home on the central north coast of NSW in March to compile a welfare report.
