A latest study by Craft Documents has revealed the best locations to work and live as a freelancer around the world in 2023.
With the growth of freelancing, employees now have the option to earn a living from home, in a co-working space or anywhere with good web connectivity.
With 84 percent of corporations believing that freelancers can add positive value to their business, there are many distant work opportunities across industries.
To find out the best places to live and work remotely, researchers analyzed various metrics from locations around the world to determine the best places.
This latest data checked out the average price of a coworking hot desk, the average cost of renting a 1-bedroom property in the city center, the average cost of an Airbnb overnight stay, web speed, food costs, transportation costs, and the variety of workspaces – modeled after the hottest digital nomad cities.
A spokesperson for Craft comments: “The growth of freelancing and distant work has been a global phenomenon over the previous few years. Many roles that used to be traditional 9-to-5 jobs are actually being replaced by freelance jobs and distant work opportunities, offering staff greater flexibility, autonomy and freedom.
“This allowed many individuals to pursue their passion, work from different locations around the world and use technology to collaborate with people from anywhere with Web access.
“It has allowed for more freedom – meaning you may work from locations throughout the world – from Ho Chi Minh City to Buenos Aires. And all this while discovering latest cultures, delving into unfamiliar working environments and earning money!”
