Ana Navarro has a bone to Pinkett with Jada.
“The View” host held nothing back when addressing Jada Pinkett Smith’s recent announcement that she and Will Smith have actually been secretly separated for seven years.
On today’s episode of “The View,” just hours after an exclusive clip from Pinkett Smith’s upcoming NBC News prime-time special with Hoda Kotb revealed that she and Smith have lived “completely separate lives” since 2016, Navarro wasted no time verbally assaulting the 52-year-old actress.
The co-host accused “The Girls Trip” star of sharing juicy tidbits of her nearly 20-year marriage with Smith, 55, to sell copies of her recent book “Worthy” out Oct. 17.
“I believe she’s having a relationship along with her checking account,” Navarro, 51, suggested. “Each time she needs to extend the rankings of ‘Red Table Talk,’ each time she must sell books, she drops these bombshells. I find it unseemly.”

She added, “I’ll let you know this: watch out of anybody who pretends to have an ideal marriage.”
Not everyone shared Navarro’s sentiments. Throughout the talk show’s Hot Topics segment, Joy Behar, 81, chimed in and called Pinkett Smith’s timing “smart” while Sunny Hostin, 54, defended the “Matrix” star and commended her bravery.
“It’s a memoir, though, and she or he writes in her memoir that they’ve been separated for all of that point,” Hostin said. “I believe it’s a brave thing to do. I believe it’s a courageous thing to do. I believe it has less to do with money. She has plenty.”
Still Navarro wouldn’t back down, bashing Pinkett for her marriage consistently making headlines from the Oscar slap heard around the globe to her various romantic entanglements.

“Why do I do know a lot about these peoples’ marriage? I type of feel like I do know more about their marriage than I learn about my very own rattling marriage,” she said. “I don’t have to know all of this. I just want to observe reruns of ‘Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.’”
Pinkett Smith dished concerning the infamous slap in a recent interview with People, claiming she thought Smith smacking Chris Rock onstage on the Academy Awards on March 27, 2022 after he made a joke about her bald head was only a “skit.”
Navarro, nevertheless, was not convinced.
“Her face didn’t appear to be she thought it was a comedy sketch,” she said. “If she thought that was a comedy sketch, she was a task in it. She was playing into it.”
“The View” airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET.
