You will have to show a blind eye to it.
TikToker has drawn attention to a continuity error spotted in the holiday favorite “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” starring Jim Carrey.
TikTok – which was posted on Tuesday and gained 3 million views — shows the scene after the Grinch wreaked havoc on Whoville, and the glitch occurred when Carrey’s eyes turned from brown to amber.
“Each time I watch the Grinch I notice this one little mistake they made or forgot to either put his contacts in or edit them afterwards,” said TikTok user @redcobweb. “So it’s just Jim Carrey’s brown eyes there. And in the next scene they return to that.”
The revelation shocked many fans of the Christmas classic.
“I JUST SAID I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS AHAHAH,” one user shouted.
“Tbh works pretty much without lmao contacts,” one other person said.
“No wonder she looks so different in this scene. I can never understand why… now I do know,” said a 3rd person.
