In April, Henley and Associates released its annual report on the world’s richest cities. The conclusions of the report are based on how rapidly the millionaire population has grown over the past 10 years in major cities around the world.
Recent World Wealth, a world intelligence firm, collected data from 97 cities in nine regions around the world. The report ranked cities based on the spending habits of greater than 150,000 affluent individuals, with a deal with those with greater than $10 million in investable assets.
It needs to be noted that the Henley & Partners report focused totally on wealthy individuals whose job titles include Founder, Chairman, CEO and Director.
All data used to create the report was collected on December 31, 2022.

Recent York got here at no. 1 on the list. The report found that between 2012 and 2022, the city experienced a 40% increase in its affluent population.
In line with a report by Henley & Partner, Recent York is home to 340,000 people price over $1 million, 724 centmillionaires and 58 billionaires.
The Big Apple is home to the largest variety of individual homeowners with a really high net price in excess of $30 million, in keeping with a 2021 report. report from financial information and analytics firm WealthX and real estate platform REALM.
In line with a 2023 report by Henley & Partners, Tokyo, Japan, is the second richest city in the world.

The second richest city on the list is Tokyo, Japan.
The Japanese city has a population of 290,300 wealthy people. Tokyo is home to 250 centmillionaires and 14 billionaires.
The town saw a 5% decrease in the growth of rich people between 2012 and 2022. Despite this Tokyo accounts for 21% of Japan’s millionairesS
The Gulf of California area, which incorporates San Francisco and Silicon Valley, rounded out the top three. The Bay Area is home to 285,000 wealthy people – there are 629 centmillionaires and 63 billionaires.
The California area saw a 68% increase in affluent population between 2012 and 2022.
In line with March study with Wealth-X and REALM, there’s one homeowner price greater than $30 million for each 372 residents of Metro San Jose and one very wealthy homeowner for each 505 residents of northern San Francisco.
