Twitter is reportedly closing its Seattle offices and telling employees to work from home because the social media giant continues to chop costs under latest CEO Elon Musk.
The move comes as Twitter faces eviction from Seattle’s Century Square Tower because the corporate stopped paying rent, sources aware of the matter told The Latest York Times.
Technical News Release Platformer reported that individuals who worked within the Seattle office were instructed to work remotely, in accordance with an email sent to employees.
Based on the report, Twitter will now likely only have offices in Latest York and San Francisco. Nonetheless, the corporate reportedly also skipped rent at its Bay Area headquarters.
Based on a Times report, the corporate has reduced cleansing and security services at its Seattle office, leaving some employees to bring their very own toilet paper to work.
