“Wheel of Fortune” may soon stop spinning for Vanna White.
This week, longtime host Pat Sajak, 76, announced he could be leaving the hit ABC game show after its forty first season in September – leaving co-host White, 66, with out a partner in crime.
But while some fans are calling for white letters to exchange Sajak, she fears she may very well be fired from the show, in response to an insider.
“Next 12 months goes to be quite a ride, and Vanna desires to be an element of all of it, even after he’s gone, and hopes they do not force her to depart,” a source near White purportedly to the Day by day Mail on Tuesday.
However the source also claims that White has no real interest in leaving the show, which she joined in 1982 – a 12 months after Sajak, in 1981 – and even has aspirations to turn out to be Sajak 2.0.
“Vanna doesn’t want to depart Wheel of Fortune even after Pat announced his retirement and would very much consider taking on as host of the show,” the insider said.

The Post contacted White’s representatives for further comments.
The alleged informant even added that White is “in it for the long term” and “would love to be involved in the choice process to succeed Pat because if it’s as much as her, she’s in it without end.”
Her game show contract expires in 2024, in response to the outlet.
But in response to Bloombergthere are other contenders — including longtime “American Idol” host and former “Live With Kelly” filler Ryan Seacrest.

“Well, it is time,” he wrote. “I actually have decided that our forty first season, which starts in September, will likely be my last. It was an incredible ride and I could have more to say in the approaching months. Many due to all of you. (Though nothing else, clickbait pages will likely be busy!)”
White later greeted her longtime co-host after the news.
“After we began @WheelofFortune, who could have imagined we would still be doing this 41 seasons later?” White wrote in tweet on Tuesday.

Nevertheless, in a 2020 interview with “CBS Sunday MorningWhite admitted that hosting the show was not something she necessarily fought for.
White hosted the show for several episodes in 2019 when Sajak went into surgery for a blocked bowel.
“Uhm, it isn’t at the highest of my list,” White admitted during an interview with the outlet on the time.
“I loved being there, I loved doing it. But I used to be so nervous. Possibly if I did it a couple of more times, I’d feel higher. But I’m my worst critic.”
