‘The Flash’ appears to be causing more problems for Warner Bros.
The brand new DC superhero movie debuted in theaters on June 16 and will cost Warner Bros. “The Flash” suffered a dramatic second-week box office drop with $15.2 million for its big-budget offering.
The film’s second week production, which stars Ezra Miller, dropped 72% after opening with a subpar $55 million.
To this point, the numbers “The Flash” has amassed fall wanting a film with a production budget of $200 million.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, on the other hand, returned to the top of the box office with its fourth week in theaters. This helped Sony’s film reach $317.1 million domestically and a whopping $560.3 million worldwide.
The animated sequel also beat out “Elemental”, which ranked second for the second week in a row with an estimated $18.5 million.
“For a movie like this to crawl up and twist the web back to primary, that is very rare,” said Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst at Comscore. “It shows the quality of the film. It’s a very competitive and crowded summer movie market. And yet, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse stands out as one in every of the biggest movies this summer.”

DC is working on two upcoming movies: “Blue Beetle,” scheduled for release on August 18, and Jason Momoa returning to “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” later this yr on December 20.
Some attribute “The Flash’s” struggles to Miller’s off-screen behavior, which included arrests and misconduct. The actor apologized and applied for psychiatric treatment.
Miller, who plays Barry Allen in the film, has had several run-ins with the law over the past few years.
